Hadley "Graduates" from 6th grade

Our school year has finally come to an end! With the end of the year came another end...the end of Hadley's elementary years. Hadley graduated from 6th grade last Friday. We we're really proud of her. She was one of about ten students to receive a gold medal for AR reading points. She had over 150 AR points, which is absolutely amazing. Since she was reading at a 12th grade level at the beginning of the year, her AR goal was set at 35 or above each term. She felt like she was reading all of the time, but she had a lot of fun doing it.

When each student got up to receive their graduation certificate, they read a little blurb that each student wrote. The title was "What will you be doing in 20 years?" This is what Hadley wrote:

In 20 years I will be 32 living in Boston, Massachusetts in a house right next to Fenway Park and I will be a season ticket holder of the Boston Red Sox. I will graduate from law school and I will be one of the top lawyers in all of Boston. I will be married and sealed in the temple to a cute LDS boy. In my spare time I will go watch Red Sox games and play with my 2 girls, Peyton Rae and Piper Hope, my boy Aiden with my husband's name as his middle name, and my 2 black labs named Millie and Drake. All five of them will be Red Sox fans:)

After they were done reading it the audience cheered like crazy....I don't know if they were cheering for Hadley or the Red Sox.....I'd like to think it was for both:)

She truly is an amazing young lady! She makes our jobs as her parents a piece of cake. We are lucky to have her!
